Part 2 of a two-part series exploring youth homelessness in Collingwood

Homeless youth in Collingwood are not going unnoticed, but for those who are noticing, the cases and numbers are indicating a growing problem.

“(Youth homelessness) is more of an emerging issue that’s coming out,” says Dwayne O’Connor, executive director with Home Horizon. “There’s more of a crisis than people thought.” more >


As a result of COVID-19, Out of The Cold Collingwood will remain open until such time as threats posed by the pandemic have passed and is available to our guests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  People experiencing homelessness or at risk of this, continue to receive support through community navigators who can be reached by dialing 211.
